Blog Post #2: Motivation

Just from the passed two weeks I have realized, based off of my own ongoing experience, that a student's concerns revolve mainly around passing their classes, trying to get as much sleep as possible, and maintaining a social life. That is why we tend to put our health at the bottom of our many priorities. Yet it is still completely feasible to still balance a healthy lifestyle while still being able to obtain an A on the midterm and even going out with friends. So far it is still too soon to tell whether the people that I have asked to take part on this journey with me have actually begun to take notice in a change of their habits, so I'm still documenting the many changes progressively.

A setback I have thought about is that I do not know the full extent of whether the people I have asked to try using the tips and advice I have been posting on my blog are actually doing so, therefore this may inhibit the results whenever I check in to see whether my advice is actually helpful or not. With this setback, I plan to document the participants in my project every other day and just checking up on them to see how they are doing. I also advise them to tell me whenever they run out of ideas regarding healthier snacking or meal ideas just so they don't feel like they're eating the same thing every day. Another factor that goes with why individuals in general find it hard to consistently eat healthy is due to not only the preparation that goes behind the food as well as the expense, but also because people think that they are only limited to eating bland and unfulfilling meals.

Throughout the duration of my project I will be following these same tips that I will be posting on my blog in order to observe the full extent of how useful they really are and continue to log my process along the way.

Thanks for reading and please check out my blog at http://fit-n-frugal.weebly.com/
